Hello lovely people! Silver Sound is seeking non-union VO talent to narrate The Reconstruction Papers, a collection of twenty-two essays, for release as an audiobook and podcast.

This is a direct response to Project 2025. It is a comprehensive instruction manual of what to do to bring Democracy back to America once power is out of authoritarian hands. It is the role of the VO artist to help make this very important playbook more accessible to everyone. We are looking for a narrator who can carry complex sentences with clarity across many hours of material.

Casting Brief

Narrator

Male or female
Open to all ages, with a preference for Gen Z
Neutral accent
Warm, intelligent, and grounded. The voice of someone who has thought carefully about the subject and wants you to follow the argument
Authoritative but relatable
Clean, unhurried pacing that can sustain long paragraphs and complex sentence structures
Comfortable with policy, political, and academic vocabulary, including proper nouns and institutional names
Consistency matters. This is a multi-hour read and the voice needs to hold across the whole collection

$2,000 flat fee

Non-union engagement
Usage: audiobook and podcast
Full buyout, in perpetuity
