Frequently Asked Questions
Can I submit the same podcast to multiple categories?
Yes! You can submit the same podcast to multiple categories. Each category submission requires a separate entry fee, but this gives you more opportunities to win a LIBBY.
Do I need to be based in NYC to enter?
No. While the awards celebrate NYC's audio culture, they are open to creators worldwide. You do not need to be based in New York City to submit or win.
How many episodes should I submit?
Submit your single best or most representative episode from the eligible period. Check specific category requirements when submitting.
What if my podcast is new and doesn't have many episodes?
That's fine! Submit your best work regardless of episode count. We have a "Best New Creator" category specifically for emerging podcasters.
What is "Define Your Win"?
Define Your Win is a three-part online workshop series included with every entry. Created by Mike Dias (producer of Nobody Likes Networking), the workshops help you clarify your podcast goals, grow your audience authentically, and build strategic connections. The series culminates in Mike's live keynote at the awards ceremony on March 13, 2026.
When do the Define Your Win workshops happen?
The three 30-minute online sessions are held before the awards ceremony. Session dates will be announced after the submission deadline (January 10, 2026). All sessions are recorded, so you can watch on your schedule if you can't attend live.
Do I have to attend the workshops?
No, the workshops are optional. Access is included with your entry fee, but participation is entirely up to you. We believe they add significant value, but they won't impact your judging or eligibility.
What do the workshops cover?
Session 1: Define Your Win – Clarify what success looks like and create a one-sentence Win Statement
Session 2: Build the Signal – Turn your Win into authentic audience growth strategies
Session 3: Activate the Network – Practice introductions and follow-ups using the 3×3 Method
