Share Your Trailer
You were a nominee or a winner of a NYC Podcast Award. That's something to brag about. We want to share your podcast trailers with the world, right here.
How It Works
We're adding trailers to the 2026 winners & nominees pages so visitors can hit play and hear what made our team's ears perk up. All we need is a direct link to your trailer's audio file.
Find your trailer's direct MP3 link
In your podcast host (Libsyn, Buzzsprout, Transistor, Spotify for Creators, etc.), open your trailer episode and copy the direct audio file / download URL — it usually ends in .mp3. Not a Spotify or Apple page link, and not Dropbox or Google Drive — cloud-storage links can't play on the site.
Paste it below and press play
The form will try playing your link right here. If you can hear it, so can everyone visiting the site.
We do the rest
Your trailer appears on your card on the winners & nominees page. Questions? contact@silversound.us
Trailer Submission
Finding Your Trailer's Real MP3 Link
Every episode you publish already has a direct audio URL — your podcast host serves it to every app. Here's how to grab it. When you paste it in the form, the preview player will confirm it works.
The universal method: your RSS feed
Open your show's RSS feed in a browser (your host's settings page lists the feed URL). Find your trailer episode and copy the URL inside its <enclosure> tag — that's the direct audio file. It usually contains .mp3.
Buzzsprout
Open the trailer episode → look for the share or download options → copy the direct download / audio file link.
Libsyn
Open the episode in your dashboard → copy the direct download URL (it typically starts with traffic.libsyn.com).
Spotify for Creators (formerly Anchor)
Spotify page links won't work — use the RSS method above. Your feed URL is in Settings → Distribution, and the enclosure link (anchor.fm/s/…/play/…) is your direct audio URL.
Transistor / Podbean / Captivate / others
Open the trailer episode and look for a "Download," "Direct link," or "Media file" option — right-click it and choose Copy Link Address.
Quick sanity check
Paste your link into a new browser tab. If audio plays (or a file downloads), it's the right kind of link. If you land on a page with buttons and branding, it's a share page — keep digging.
Still stuck?
Email contact@silversound.us with your show name and RSS feed URL, and we'll fish the link out for you.
Finding a Direct Artwork Link
We need a URL that points straight at the image file itself — when you paste it below, a preview will appear so you know it works.
The universal method: your RSS feed
Open your show's RSS feed in a browser and copy the URL inside the <itunes:image> tag near the top — that's your official cover art, at full resolution, already hosted by your podcast host.
From any website
If your cover art appears on your own site or your host's public show page, right-click the image and choose Copy Image Address.
Quick sanity check
Paste the link into a new browser tab. If you see just the image filling the tab, it's right. If you see a page with buttons, comments, or a download prompt, it's a share page — keep digging.
Requirements
JPG or PNG, at least 1400×1400px (that's the podcast-standard cover size, so the file you submitted to Apple/Spotify already qualifies).
Still stuck?
Email contact@silversound.us with your show name and we'll grab it from your feed.
